Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Context Window (“we”) collects on contextwindow.shop and in the internal tool we use to publish our own videos to social media, and what we do with it. Questions go to team@contextwindow.shop.

On contextwindow.shop

Analytics.We count page views and clicks on product links to understand which pages are useful. Your browser stores a random session identifier in local storage so visits in one session are counted once. We don’t collect your name or email this way.

Advertising measurement. The site loads the Meta Pixel and the X Pixel, which tell Meta and X when someone visits after seeing one of our posts or ads. Those companies process that data under their own privacy policies.

Orders.Checkout runs on Shopify. When you place an order, Shopify collects your name, email, shipping address and payment details and shares with us what we need to fulfil and support the order. Payment card details stay with Shopify and its payment processors. Shopify’s privacy policy applies to checkout.

Email. If you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer you.

Context Window Publisher

Context Window Publisher is an internal tool that uploads videos we made to our own Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts through the platforms’ official APIs. Only our team uses it, and it only connects to accounts we own.

• It uses the access we grant when we sign in to each platform: publishing videos and reading basic account information (account name and ID) needed to post.
• It does not access, collect or store information about other people, including viewers, followers or commenters.
• Access tokens are stored only on our own computer, in files readable by our account. They are never sold, shared or used for advertising.
• Videos are uploaded to temporary storage just long enough for the platform to fetch them, then deleted.
• We can revoke the tool’s access at any time in each platform’s settings: Instagram (Apps and websites), TikTok (Manage app permissions) and Google (Third-party apps with account access).

Context Window Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using it, we agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to data Google processes. Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing and retention

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with the services named above to run the store and our accounts, or when the law requires it. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require; analytics data is kept in aggregate.

Your choices

You can clear local storage in your browser at any time, use your browser’s tracking protection to block the pixels, and email us to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted.

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date. See also our Terms of Service.
